A perfect introduction to Melbourne's city centre
This tour will teach you a lot about Melbourne, for visitors and locals alike. I'll guide you through Melbourne's history, laneways, street art culture, architecture, and the political decisions that shaped it into what it is today. Along the way I'll point out the best cafes, bars, and restaurants to visit, and which ones steal the wages of their staff. I'll fill you in on all the best festivals, theatre, and comedy gigs that are happening too.
I recommend you book at the start of your visit to Melbourne to help you get the most out of your stay.
Locals will also enjoy this tour - you'll be surprised at how little you've questioned your city.

Duration: 135 minutes (approx.) 10am - 12~12:15pm depending on how fast we walk. There'll be a quick rest stop at QV Square half way if you need it.
Location: Melbourne city (Narrm), Australia
Departs from: Town Hall Melbourne Visitors Centre (Corner of Swanston Street and Little Collins Street)
Ends at: Hamer Hall (Southbank)
What to wear: Tours run in all weather so please dress appropriately and wear comfortable clothing.

Melbourne is known for its culture, this inner-city suburb is overflowing with it. It has the glossy things you see from tourism campaigns like live music, street art, cafes, comedy, and nightlife. But it also has a fascinating history. I'll teach you about colonization, communist gatherings, immigration waves, and how it became colloquially known as the People's Republic of Brunswick.
This tour is written with locals in mind, but visitors will enjoy seeing Brunswick's art, and iconic architecture.
